A delightful Bharatnatyam and Kathak performance was held at Ravindra Bhavan Auditorium here on Friday.
The classical event ‘Nritya Ranjani’ was organised by Padmarang Dance Academy, Bhopal. The Bharatnatyam performance was given by Shweta Devendra and Kathak performance was presented by Shama Malviya.
The evening began with the alluring Bharatnatyam performance by Shweta and her troupe. Their speedy footwork and wondrous expressions marked their beautiful performance.
They undoubtedly maintained the purity of Bharatnatyam performance in their presentation.
An excellent blend of sensuous movements and graceful footwork with absolute control on rhythm was the performance by the dancers enchanted the audience a lot.
This performance was very rhythmical and filled with lot of enthralling footworks that was also enjoyed by the audience. It was a feast for the classical dance lovers.
later, the evening was followed with presenting the colourful shades of Kathak with the flawless performance of Kathak performance by Shama and her troupe.
Presenting the Krishna leela the performers showcased traditional forms of Kathak like, Thumri, Tarana and baitki also. The dancers gave a mesmerizing performance.
Their energetic performance and early proficiency in the mathematical aspects of Kathak mesmerized the audiences at the show.
While giving the delightful performance the dancers refined the dramatic and rhythmic aspects, delighting audiences with the performance over rhythm and the stylized presentation.
It is to be noted that the event was organised to mark the annual function of the Padamrang Dance Academy. The audience enjoyed every bit of the show.
