Nandan Ruhaila, a student of class XII in Jawaharlal Nehru Vidyalaya at Ratibad, approached Upbhokta Sanrakshan Kalyan Samiti on May 8, demanding his fee paid to a coaching institute.
He had taken admission in a coaching institute for studying science subjects earlier in the month. The coaching institute took the full fees of Rs 3000 from him assuring that he would be provided with best guidance. But no sooner he joined classes he was disappointed by the apathetic attitude of teachers and their absence from class. He complained about this to coaching manager but to no avail.Disillusioned, he demanded the coaching institute to refund his money but they plainly refused. Ruhaila approached Saxena who contacted the coaching centre and told them in clear terms to settle the matter or else the organization will drag them to consumer forum. On this, the coaching director relented and refunded `2000, deducting the amount for classes already attended by the student.
