A class 9 girl student of a private school committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at her Dwarka Nagar residence under Bajaria police station area on Thursday.
According to the police, the deceased Ranu Morya (14) was found hanging at her house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
Investigation Officer SI HP Ahirwar said that the deceased was found hanging on Thursday. The deceased was a student of Modern School in Hinotia village. Her classmates, teachers and school staff would be questioned as the reason behind the suicide is still unknown.
The family members have claimed that the deceased was depressed after she was not able to perform well in her examination but the claims of the family could not be verified as no suicide has been recovered and the information could be verified with the school.
Her elder brother has claimed that the deceased had failed to perform better in the examination and this might be the reason behind her taking this extreme step, he added.
During the investigation police found that the deceased was not having any kind of problem which was confirmed by her parents but they were not able to ascertain the reason behind the suicide which would be investigated.
Police have not recovered any suicide note in the investigation which could help in revealing the reason behind the suicide.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem.
