A class 12 student committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Neelbad late in the night on Sunday; Ratibad police have started investigation.
Police said at around 1 in the night the deceased Ravi Rajput reported illness and when he was rushed to a nearby hospital he was declared brought dead. The victim was class 12 student and as the schools are shut he used to help his father in sanitary hardware business.
The reason of the suicide remained unknown as the family members are not aware of any issue which Ravi was facing. In the investigation no suicide note was recovered which could help in revealing reason behind the suicide.
Mobile phone of the accused would be checked and his friends would be questioned to find the reason of suicide. Police said that the statements of family members, friends and classmates are yet to be recorded.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation in the case.
