n A 10th class student has died under suspicious circumstances in Piplani area, the 16-year-old had fever and headache for three days and when taken to hospital in the night on Tuesday he was declared dead.
In the night on Tuesday Sumit had a severe headache and the family immediately took him to Hamidia Hospital where the doctor declared Sumit dead.
Sumit's father works as a contractor. The police have established a case and started an investigation.
The family members told that Sumit reported fever on November 6 and immediately went to Peoples Hospital and when we came back from there, he again got fever on November 7, then we took him to Anant Hospital, from there. After getting the medicine, his health became a little stable. His condition worsened again at around 2 in the night, after which we immediately took him to Hamidia, where the doctor declared him dead.
HCM Bhagwat Singh said that foam was oozing out from the mouth of the boy, hence the case seems suspicious, the body has been brought for post mortem.
Police said that the hospital raised suspicion that death does not seem natural Due to which the matter looks suspicious. The exact cause of death is expected to be revealed only after the postmortem report is received.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started an investigation.
Family and friends would be questioned in the investigation to reveal the reason behind the death.
