CII Madhya Pradesh organised the annual day of State Council with the theme ‘ Fostering growth through Innovation and Entrepreneurship’ with Rajendra Shukla, Minister, Department of Commerce, Industry and Employment as Chief Guest of the event.
Shukla deliberated on the subject and emphasised on the need of developing entrepreneurs in the state, especially now at a time when Madhya Pradesh enjoys an image of established brand in the world.
Mohammed Suleman, Principal Secretary, Department of Commerce, Industry and Employment also shared his view on Innovation and Entrepreneurs and vision of the Industries Department of the State.
Amongst other eminent speakers were RR Sonde, Executive Vice President, Thermax ltd, Rahul Narvekar, Founder and CEO, The India Network and Scale Ventures Fund, Amo Kalar, British High Commission, Sandeep Kadwe, MD, MPVFl, Sandeep Prakash, Regional Head – West and South, Amway India and Ashish Kawale, Principal Consultant, Infor (India) Pvt ltd, Mumbai. The conference included a thematic as well as a Panel discussion and touched upon various challenges and opportunities present in today’s era for young entrepreneurs.
During the first Madhya Pradesh Council meeting, Anshul Mittal, Executive Director, Mittal Appliances ltd. took over as Chairman of CII Madhya Pradesh State Council and Rajesh Khare, Managing Director, Evonne Industries ltd got elected as the Vice-Chairman of the Council. After being elected as the Chairman, CII Madhya Pradesh, Mittal shared that the theme for CII Madhya Pradesh for 2017-18 is – ‘Fostering Growth through Innovation and Entrepreneurship’, the goals of which are closely aligned to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of Make in India.
Annual Day received an overwhelming response from industries and had a participation of more than 150 delegates from across the state.
