HR & Training-Placement Officers, CEOs & College Deans, Strategic Heads, and Heads of Department gathered on a single stage at the recently concluded CII Industry-Academia Conclave 2023 to discuss strategies to strengthen the coordination between institutions and industry. The CII MP State Education Panel was behind this event with the aim of addressing the skill gap in fresh graduates who enter the industry.
The event was split into three sessions, with moderators and speakers addressing the audience and sharing their subject matter expertise. Each round of discussion threw light on either the industry’s perspective or the academia’s with speakers suggesting ways to forge strategic alliances between higher education institutions & industry, so that students can receive frequent on-the-job training and become aware of the current trends and real-world applications of the academic knowledge they acquire in their academic years.
