Family members have claimed that the victim was suffering from illness for long and used to remain dejected due to her bad health. Victim’s parents have claimed that the victim used to remain depressed and was not in healthy state of mind. Her husband and in-laws were good to her and never harassed her demanding anything.

During the investigation, police have found that the family members believed that the deceased was under the influence of spirits and have visited witch doctors in the past but still she was not relived from the pain she was suffering from.

Investigating Officer KS Bharti told that no visible injury marks or any other kind of damage to the body was found initially and only signs of strangulation were witnessed. In the initial investigation, the reason behind the death appears to be depression from prolonged illness but after receiving the post mortem report, further details about the death could be revealed.
