Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced on Sunday that the relief team which is working in Uttarakhand under Culture Minister laxmikant Sharma would be felicitated by the government for its exemplary services.
He also expressed gratitude towards the military, Gayatri Parivar and other organisations which supported relief operations in the flood-hit State. Chouhan was at the camp established by the State government at Shantikunj in Haridwar to review the relief operations so far. "The relief team of Madhya Pradesh and Gayatri Pariwar has done an exemplary service by rising in aid of the people struck by tragedy," he said.
Chief Secretary R Parashuram said a well-planned strategy would be chalked out to search the persons from Madhya Pradesh who are still missing. He also announced that a Disaster Management Force would be raised in the State to meet such emergencies. The relief team of the State would continue its operations for the next few days.
