Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Public Relations, Energy, New and Renewable Energy and Mineral Resources Development Minister Rajendra Shukla have expressed profound grief over the death of Kanhaiyalal lodhi, the elder brother of Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti. lodhi died on Saturday in a hospital at Jhansi, family sources said. He was suffering high blood pressure and diabetes.
The Chief Minister has prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss. Shukla also expressed profound grief over the death of lodhi and prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family. lodhi was admitted about a fortnight back in the Jhansi Medical College Hospital where he breathed his last. lodhi’s last rites were performed at his ancestral village Dunda in Tikamgarh district. Bharti also reached her village in the morning.
