Published on:

launching scathing attack on the Chief Minister, Congress MlA Mahendra Singh Sisodia has alleged that Shivraj Singh Chouhan has achieved mastery in hypocrisy.

Sisodia, who represents Bamori Assembly constituency under Guna parliamentary constituency of the State while addressing media persons here on Thursday said, “CM Chouhan has earned notoriety as the false announcements making chief minister and during his eleven years in office he has made over eleven thousand false announcements.

This is not only Congress party’s allegation but it was also endorsed last days by none other than senior BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Raghunandan Sharma who had termed the chief minister as Ghoshnaveer.”

Sisodia further said that chief minister is in the habit of making false announcements during his tenure of eleven years especially during parliamentary, assembly, local body by-elections of making that particular constituency area as smart city, model city and development works worth crores, seed and compost for farmers, crops compensation and insurance amount, making agriculture profitable business, employment for unemployed, schools colleges, stadiums, tubewells, wells, ponds and construction  of stop dams.

In this regard one more lie of the Ghoshnaveer chief minister is exposed by the Congress, he added.

He said that the proof of lie of chief minister has come to fore in that Chouhan make announcement during the local body’s election on September 17, 2008 to elevate Village Panchayat Bamhori to  Nagar Panchayat.

Village Panchayat Bamhori - Rampur Colony comes under village Panchayat Myana village Bajrang-garh.  Unfortunately, BJP lost this election and angry over it the chief minister did not fulfilled his promise of elevating the village Panchayat into Nagar Panchayat.

The Congress MlA said that during the 2015 winter session of assembly when I wish to knew through starred question about the issue, the then UAD minister Kailash Vijaywargiya informed the house that there is no such proposal of elevating Village Panchayat Bamhori to Nagar Panchayat.

Whereas, the fact is that the then Guna Collector Mukesh Gupta has written on September 24, 2008 to the chief secretary of the state and UAD in this regard.

This exposes Chouhan government’s lies and misleading of the house and this is serious issue and s associated with the privilege that would be raised by the Congress in the next assembly session.
