Chouhan lauds IASOWA’s efforts during pandemic

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that women empowerment is one of the main objectives of my life. From the very beginning of my public life, I have been working for the empowerment of women. When I was MP from Vidisha, I adopted many girls. I performed the ‘kanyadan’ ritual of three of them recently. In this work my wife extends full cooperation.

Chouhan said that the members of ‘IASOWA’ set an excellent example of social service during the Corona crisis. They not only fed people with home cooked food, but also served the society in many other ways. If IASOWA markets the products of women self-help groups through its website, they will get a good market.

Chouhan on Saturday dedicated the website of Madhya Pradesh IAS Officers Wives Association (IASOWA) at Minto Hall. On this occasion, Smt. Sadhna Singh also released IASOWA e-magazine ‘Vistaar’.

Chouhan said that it is true that behind the success of every man is a woman. My wife has a big hand behind my success too. She has helped me in every task.

The Chief Minister said that this important fact of life comes to the fore in the questions and answers of Yudhishthira and Yaksha that every person knows that he will die one day, still he continues to act as if he has to live forever.

This is the biggest surprise. A person should make better use of each and every moment in his life to make his life precious and important. I also constantly try that every moment of mine should be spent for the welfare of the people and development of the state.

Chouhan said that IASOWA continues to do social service. Serving others is the greatest virtue.

The winner is the one who works for the country, society and others.

Chouhan said that trees are living oxygen plants. By planting more and more trees we can enrich the environment. I plant a sapling every day. Ankur campaign is being launched for tree plantation in Madhya Pradesh. Under this, you may upload your photographs while planting sapling.

Chouhan visited the exhibition and appreciated the products put up by the women self-help groups at the venue. Chouhan appreciated the saris made by the women of Shiva self-help group, munga powder made by Om Jai Jagdish Hare Group, Aloe Vera-Neem powder, honey etc. made by other groups.
