Chouhan, last dramatic CM says Ajay Singh

"Shivraj Singh Chouhan is first and the last dramatic Chief Minister of the State," said leader of Opposition in the state assembly Ajay Singh who attacked the Chief Minister for allegedly showing false sympathy towards the farmers.

"Bribe was demanded for procurement of wheat in the State capital itself which exposes the real face of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan who was not a bit embarrassed by the incident. He has become Nero of Madhya Pradesh and is busy in his gimmickry while the farmers suffer," Singh said on Friday.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan went to Satna after playing Holi to stage a fake show of sympathy towards the farmers of Madhya Pradesh, but he is not at all bothered that farmers are being cheated in the name of wheat procurement like last year, said Singh.

"It has been amply proved that Chief Minister's concern towards farmers in the state is a mere pretense. The truth about the CM who never losses the chance to shed crocodile tears on hailstorm destroying standing crops is that in the State capital itself, the farmers are facing hardship in selling wheat," he said. He further added that the incident of demands for bribe of Rs 50 per trolley in Bhopal shows that the State Government has started a scheme of cheating the farmers in name of wheat procurement.

At the same time, farmers who are raising their voice against this are being beaten. Crushed under the burden of debt, farmers are committing suicide while farmer's son CM is singing Holi songs, he added.

Ajay Singh’s take on CM

leader of Opposition Ajay Singh said that the Chief Minister exhibits a farce every year in name of playing Holi with the common people. "The truth is that neither the CM is interested in meeting common people nor are common people permitted inside his residence. The people with whom he plays Holi are party workers," said Singh. "Just check the album of such celebrations for last 10 years and you will find that faces that are always present around the CM are also present at his residence during Holi," he said, adding that the CM should refrain from making merry with his party men and focus on preventing injustices against women and farmers.
