It was Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan who took cognizance of the irregularities in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) and ordered inquiry into the scam and asserted that strong punishment would be given to those who have done injustice with the youth of the State, said Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan on Tuesday.Nandkumar Singh said that later the Special Task Force (STF) was constituted. The Congress always tried to derail the investigations and dragged the case to the High Court where it got disappointed, he added.Singh said that the only purpose of Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh in taking the case to the High Court was to save a medical college of Indore that was the source of irregularities from being probed.
The High Court constituted STF and sequential investigations were started. Action was taken in the irregularities found in recruitments done between 2008 and 2013, he added. He alleged that during Congress regime recruitment of Shikshakarmis and on other posts used to happen by auction. They never dared to order inquiry while Shivraj Singh Chouhan has shown his good intent at every level and the credit of the Supreme Court order for inquiry of the VYAAPM scam through CBI also goes to Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In these circumstances if the Congress tries to defame the chief minister than it is social malignancy and serious crime. The people would not forgive it for this, he added. The BJP state president while terming the Congress call for State bandh as uncalled for, irrational and irrelevant said that this also shows that the Congress has made it a habit to disrespect the constitutional institutions. The way Congress is insulting judiciary and other constitutional institutions is saddening, he added.
