Governor Ram Naresh Yadav has said that Chitrakoot University is playing important role in education and skill development as per national demand not only in Madhya Pradesh, but entire country. The university has achieved major success in livelihood development of students through flexible credit system keeping skill development education in focus. Governor Yadav was addressing 50th meeting of governing body Mahatma Gandhi Gramoday Chitrakoot University, Chitrakoot, Satna at Raj Bhavan here today. University's Vice Chancellor Prof NC Gautam, PS to Governor Ajay Tirkey, Commissioner Higher Education Umakant Umrao, governing body members and senior Raj Bhavan officers were present at the meeting. Expressing happiness over 'A Grade' conferred to the university by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the Governor said that the university has not only made efforts of villagers' upliftment, but has also carved its distinct identity in the country. Its enrollment ratio is increasing about 13 percent per annum which shows university's relevance and social acceptability.
