The last batch of Summer Science Workshop ‘Electronics Workshop’ at Regional Science Centre that began here on Tuesday would continue till Saturday.
On the second last day of the workshop the students' real excitement was revealed as they assembled individually one Electronic Harmonium circuit on their own on the Printed Circuit Board using various electronic components such as Resistors, Capacitors, Integrated circuit, speaker.
So far the Regional Science Centre has organised three workshops namely creative science, model rocketry and aeromodelling and now the centre will organise Electronics workshops for the middle school children. The electronics workshop began here from Tuesday at Regional Science Centre premises that would continue till Saturday.
As many as 20 students from different schools of Bhopal participated in the workshop. During these five days workshop students would be exposed to various basic electronic components such as Resistors, Capacitors, Diodes, Transformers, Transistors, Integrated Circuits, FND's and more. They will also learn about their functions in the electronic circuits. Every day new demonstrations will be given to the students and in the second half, they will fabricate new kits. On the concluding day, students will demonstrate these kits in front of their parents. Through fun learning activities, the students are exploring the unknown and unique facts about science not only
attending lectures, but also practically.
Notably, the Electronics workshop is the last batch of summer vacation workshop which would help the students in enhancing their knowledge in electronic field.
Further, all the related practicals would be done by the students. The students will individually learn the soldering practice during these days. Then on the concluding day of the workshop i.e. on Saturday, the students individually prepare one electronic circuit using the components and printing circuit board and will give a demonstration before the parents in the valediction function.
