Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that India has consistently been ahead in the field of astronomy, mathematics and spirituality. With the help of science, we can create employment opportunities by utilizing the immense wealth in the state. Chouhan said that along with all subjects, proper arrangements would be made for the study of science in CM Rise Schools.
Chouhan was inaugurating the ‘Madhya Pradesh Science Conference and Exhibition’ through VC from Mantralaya. Minister of Science and Technology Om Prakash Sakhlecha was also present. The Madhya Pradesh Science Conference and Exhibition was organized at IIT Indore.
Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh Science Conference is an important event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the mantra of Atmanirbhar Bharat. We have set the goal of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh for a Atmanirbhar Bharat. This conference will prove to be a milestone in making the road map of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. India has given the world the light of knowledge and the boon of science. India has a tradition of religion, literature, culture, science. Our science is very glorious and rich.
The Chief Minister said that religion and science support each other. Mantra is also a science, sound is energy and energy is never destroyed. Science has proved the miracles of mantras. India has made significant contribution in astronomy, mathematics etc. Famous mathematicians like Brahmagupta, Varahamihira, Bhaskaracharya have lived here. Zero was also invented in India. India has a significant contribution in mathematics and science. The observatory built in Jaipur is amazing in itself. India has consistently been ahead in the field of knowledge-science, spirituality. We could not keep this knowledge-science properly compiled. It is also believed that various types of inventions were made by other countries by taking India’s ideas and knowledge-science technology.
Chouhan said that there has been a scientific approach in every field in India. We also have to understand the circumstances arising out of scientific development. Corona situation is in front of us, along with it we are also hearing about Cancer Express. These conditions have been created as a result of destruction of nature, unscientific approach and disorderly way of life. Instead of the utilization of nature in India, there is exploitation of nature. In the case of agriculture we need to consider the circumstances. Chemical fertilizers have poisoned our food and vegetables. As a result organic farming is being talked about. Glaciers are melting due to global warming, due to which the sea level will rise, as well as rivers will also be affected.
Chouhan said that not only technology but also scientific approach is important. Nature worship in India was the result of scientific approach. The worship of mountains, trees, rivers shows the importance of nature. If rivers exist, there will be water in them and they will continue to give life, this is our scientific approach.
Chouhan said that there is a need for scientific approach in the matter of development. We need to maintain balance. The thinking that the earth is only for human beings is wrong. The existence of the earth is not possible without the existence of animals, birds, plants and insects. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the use of better technology would prove helpful in making the local vocal. If women working in self-help groups in the state get the support of a little science and technology, then their products can be better.
The utility and quality of the products can be improved.
