Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that balance between growth and nature is necessary to leave a balanced life and a safe earth. As per the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with infrastructure development in the state, activities are being conducted on a large scale to protect the environment.
Ankur Abhiyan, started for plantation, is the best example of public-participatory initiative in the field of environmental protection. Village level activities are being carried out in the state for cleanliness, water conservation, campaign against drug abuse, empowerment of daughters along with tree plantation. Chouhan was discussing with the media after planting saplings along with Joshi.
