Chaturvedi is Jaichand, says Ajay Singh

leader of Opposition in State Assembly Ajay Singh alleged on Thursday that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had conspired the horse trading in the House to avoid discussion on the illegal property worth crores of rupees amassed by his relatives.

“Chief Minister would not be able to prevent from coming into light the corruption of his family members by avoiding the no confidence motion,” he said, adding that Choudhary Rakesh Singh Chaturvedi had backstabbed the party and he also equated him to Jaichand.

“The BJP especially, the Chief Minister was afraid of the no confidence motion ever since the idea was floated by us. The Chief Minister knew that the corruption committed by his relatives and his wife would be disclosed in the motion. He was desperate to avoid discussion on the no confidence motion and therefore he hatched the conspiracy which has lowered the head of parliamentary democracy in the State,” Singh said.

“The fact that the no confidence motion, which had been approved for discussion under the rules and regulations of the House, was dismissed by objections raised by a member who was sold out shows that BJP and Shivraj Singh Chouhan are fascists who have no faith in democracy,” he said.

Singh further said, “The BJP might think that it has won on floor of the House, but people of the state know that the CM has sacrificed democracy to protect his family members from the charges of corruption.”
