The Champak Bungalow, a hotel of State Tourism Corporation in Pachmarhi got the international Quality Certification from index quantity certification limited by a UK based Certification firm.
All efforts were started by Uma Shukla, daughter of Shyamacharan Shukla (ex CM of Madhya Pradesh and Tourism Corporation Chairman Vinod Gotia. Santosh Shukla, Senior Advocate is the president of World Book of records brought Wilhelm Jezler head of Europe for Certification.
Wilhelm Arrived at Champak on January 27, 2023 and stayed. And analysed the Services, Hospitality and maintenance of British era architecture.
He found that management of Champak Bungalow is excellently managing this property with required standards. And the history of Champak is that Champak was earlier Known as Lansdowne House in British period, and after independence it was known as Champak Bungalow because in Champak Bungalow ther are many trees of Champa (a kind of Flower tree) varieties. And it used to be cm's residence.
Champak Bungalow was transferred to MP Tourism in 2008 and since October 2009 Champak Bungalow is operating as Heritage Hotel a Resort. So Mr Wilhelm rewarded Champak Bungalow with International Quality Certification.
