Centre taking solid steps for minority welfare: BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Marty (BJP) Minority Cell has claimed that the Central Government is taking solid steps for minority communities to get them rid of poverty.

BJP Minority Cell Madhya Pradesh president Hidayatullah Sheikh in a statement here on Sunday said, “The non-BJP political parties while remaining in power used minorities as only vote bank and made their financial and educational position weak, while the BJP after assuming power in the State and the Centre waged a war on the poverty of the minorities.”

Sheikh further said that in the country no discrimination is done on the basis of religion, caste and region. Prime Minister Narendra Modi by giving call of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas (Together with all, Development for all) paved way for the prosperity of all sections of society, he added.

He said that schemes like Make in India, Digital India, Startup and Mudra Bank would provide relief to the weaker sections of the society. The Central and State Governments of Madhya Pradesh are committed for the empowerment of poor. Schemes like Sikho aur Kamao, Nai Manzil, Nai Roshni, Ustad and Nayi Udaan are proving to be boon for the minorities. Growing interest towards the employment oriented schemes is the proof that the call of PM Modi has inherited new zeal among the minorities, Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribe communities in the country. This positive change tells the world that the country has taken a new turn during the past two and a half year. The weaker section has become ready to stand on its feet, he added.

The Senior BJP leader of the minority community from the state further said that in order to ensure that the Waqf properties become beneficial for the Muslims and that the efforts to finish them remain in control the Central Government has constituted one member board that would hear the grievances of the community.
