Chief Electoral Officer VL Kantha Rao has informed that 26,812 non-bailable warrants have been served from October 6 to November 01, 2018 after the model code of conduct has come into effect in the state to ensure law and order. In this series, 2,484 illegal firearms have been confiscated and 2,50,017 firearms have been deposited in the police stations during this period. Under the property defacement, total 15,46,491 cases have been registered and action has been taken in 14,94,450 cases.
Under the Government Property Defacement, 11,98,628 cases have been registered and action has been taken against 11,66,021 cases. Similarly, under the private property defacement, 3,47,863 cases have been registered.
