In order to check the ragging in the hostels of Jiwaji University CCTVs cameras would be installed. Installation of CCTV cameras on every floor of Aryabhatt hostel and Captain Roop Singh hostel gallery and mess is being considered.
According to information the proctorial board has already recommended the installation of CCTV cameras in the hostel. But the university administration did not implement the direction on time. Many CCTVcamers have been installed in the campus but none was installed in the hostels. Had there been CCTV cameras here the raging in the hostels could have been prohibited.
The in-charge Vice Chancellor of JU Prof JN Gatum said that the proctorial board has given this proposal to install the CCTV cameras they would be implemented.
