The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) would investigated the case of suspicious death of 8-year-old class 3 student of DPS Bhopal who died on January 4, 2019 at Awadhpuri; AIIMS Delhi analysis of death lead to the conclusion that girl suffered physical exploitation.
The court has issued orders of CBI investigation of case and it would be handed over to CBI by the district police.
DIG Bhopal Irshad Wali said that the case would be handled by CBI as court has issued orders to investigate the case by CBI.
The CBI team would be handed over with the details of case which would done on their arrival.
On the part of district police, investigation has been done and nothing further would be added in the investigation as further probe would be conducted by CBI, he added.
Notably while on her way to home after school with her mother girl went unconscious and when taken to hospital she could not be saved, the incident took place on January 4, 2019 and in the post mortem it was revealed that girl died due to consuming of poisonous substance which the parents failed to accept.
The parents complaint with Children Rights Commission and in the analysis of AIIMS it was found that something heinous was committed with the girl.
