Vinod alleged that the police officials investigating the case are cooperating, but still the depth in the probe is required is missing. In the letter to the Chief Minister, Sharma has mentioned several points including the delay in the arrest of the accused and he is hampering the investigation process using his influence.

On May 11, Indu Sharma had committed suicide by handing in a room of a flat situated on Hoshangabad road. Since, the police inspector was in live-in relationship with the woman, he had informed the police about the incident.
