The Gwalior police have recovered an illegal gun from a miscreant, Betu Yadav, who was caught in the Avadh Behari murder case. The police have also announced a reward of Rs5,000 on the head of Harendra Rana, who is reported to have killed Avadh Behari. SP Gwalior Pramod Verma said that Harendra would be nabbed soon.
The police said Avadh Behari was a dealer in weapons. Harendra Rana had purchased a Buster and a pistol from him. But Harendra was not satisfied with the fire power of these weapons. He wanted to return them but Avadh Behari was not prepared to return the money and so Harendra killed him.
It has also come to notice that notorious miscreants are also the targets of Harendra so these miscreants have approached the police with their complaint.
The police say they have received a very important lead about Harendra and they are working in this direction. They are further investigating the route of illegal weapons reaching the district.
