A 35-year-old married woman was sexually exploited for the past two years by threatening her of life at Shahjehanabad area by her husband’s friend; a case was registered on Monday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Nisar for the past two years and during the period accused threatened her of life and continued to sexually exploit her.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC.
The victim came into contact with the accused around three years ago and used to frequently visit her house. In June 2017 the victim was alone when the accused came and sexually assaulted her threatening her of life. Later the accused continued to sexually assault her threatening her of life and making the act public.
Victim later reported the atrocity to her husband and complaint was lodged with the police. Police have registered a case of sexual assault and started search for the accused who went absconding after the complaint was lodged. The victim used to live with her second husband after she divorced her first husband nine years ago. The details of the accused are yet to be found. Meanwhile a man was nabbed by Jehangirabad police who for sexually assaulting a 37-year-old woman by threatening her of life at Khatlapura in the morning on Tuesday.
The accused identified as Anil Yadav tried to sexually assault the victim who was rescued by police. The police have registered a case of rape against the accused and started further investigation.
