Jehangirabad police have arrested a 21-year-old carpenter who sexually assaulted and exploited a minor girl for the past three years.
The accused befriended the minor girl while completing furniture work in the house. Taking the girl on the pretext of taking her for a ride, she was sexually assaulted. The accused used to chase the girl while on her way to school and back to defame her and blackmailed her and continued to sexually exploit her.
Frustrated over molestation, the victim lodged a complaint and a case under section 376, 376(2)(n), 354(d), 506 of the IPC and 5(E) and 6, 11(iv) and 12 of POCSO Act.
In her complaint the victim stated that the accused Arun Vishwakam came to her house for furniture work and exchanged mobile numbers with the victim. Later the two started to talk over mobile phones and started to meet. Luring her of taking her for ride accused took her and raped her.
The accused also took the victim to a hotel several times to sexually assault her. Victim was not aware of the name of the hotel. He continued to sexualy assault her by threatening her and would molest her, tease her on her way to school.
