With the filing of nominations, candidates are out to campaign in their constituency with the sole aim to garner maximum votes in their favour.
The candidates in Narela constituency have started canvassing in their respective areas and adopted different ways to attract attention of voters.
The Independent candidates are seen campaigning with their limited resources while nominees of two major political parties BJP and Congress have been doing extensive campaigning with massive resources and reaching out to a large number of people as compared to the Independent candidates.
Minister and BJP nominee Vishwas Sarang has been using the same office in Ashoka Garden for the past two assembly elections which he won. All the activities of campaigning are managed from the office.
While talking to ‘The Pioneer’ Sarang said that nothing new and innovative is being used in the campaigning as voters would vote for the development and not for entertaining style or gimmickry. Almost all the areas in the constituency would be covered in coming days to appeal for voting in his favour.
On the other side, picture was different for Congress candidate Mahendra Singh Chouhan who adopted conventional method of ‘knock-door’ or ‘door to door’ campaigning in the constituency.
Chouhan has established three offices in Chhola, 80 ft road in Ashoka Garden and Karond.
He has planned to visit areas and maximize his reach to the voters appealing to vote for Congress.
He alleged that resentment against the BJP candidate was found in every area.
The contest would be interesting as several voters in the Narela constituency have never heard Chouhan’s name.
