Preparations of the Annual sports day has began from Saturday. The School playground of Campion School was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere in the meantime of the preparations of the Annual sports day scheduled next month. Almost 1500 students from Standard 6 to 12 from Secondary Section take part in it. All of them tie up their shoes, and ready for this mega event and begin their preparations.
The students preparing themselves to display a wide array of colourful and reverberant events such as PT Display, March Past, Races, Drills etc.
They mesmerized the audience with their energetic upcoming performances on the Annual Sports day. Students preparing for take part under the Guidance of Johnsy Koshy (Physical Education Teacher) in various sports events like 100m race, 200m race, 400m race, 800m race and also 100m, 200m, 400m, 4X100m relay, Hurdles, long Jump, High jump, Triple jump etc. Discus throw, Javelin throw, Short-put, Hammer throw, PT display and March-Past is also one of the major attractions of this day. A preparation on Yoga and Formation of pyramids by students was in full swing.
Player of the Day and the Most Popular House trophy was also declared on the day of Annual Sports Meet.
Now a day, Everyday children should spare time and give their best for sports to participate in this mega event.
