Handloom, silk, khadi, Vindhya Valley clothes and other products can be bought online under Gramodyog Global Campaign in Madhya Pradesh. This was stated by Principal Secretary Gramodyog Praveer Krishna at a workshop held to apprise about activities under the campaign on Wednesday. Various sectors of Gramodyog also displayed their products at the workshop at Gauhar Mahal.
Krishna informed that efforts are being made for online shopping from Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. He informed that technique of products has been improved following Gramodyog Global Campaign. Efforts are being made that shops of various outlets are under one roof.
Krishna informed that stalls of Handicraft Development Corporation, silk and khadi clothes will function all 365 days of the year at Gauhar Mahal.
Chanderi saris, readymade clothes stitched by gas-affected women and other products, show pieces of bell metal artistes of Betul, Vindhya Valley products, Kabira Brand clothes, Bagh print and Maheshwari saris were also displayed at the workshop.
