Unidentified miscreants targeted an electronic shop and decamped with electronic goods and `25000 cash from Govind Vihar under MP Nagar police station area on Tuesday.
On Tuesday morning when employee of the shop went to open the shop the locks were found broken and informed the owner of shop Prabod Verma was informed regarding the burglary. The victim rushed to the shop and found that electronic goods and cash were missing.
Victim lodged a complaint claiming that a laptop and `25000 cash were burgled from his shop Ultimate Services which deals in providing repair services of computer and laptops. The laptop burgled from the shop for due for repair and belongs to a customer.
After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC.
Meanwhile, gold and silver jewelry worth `50000 was stolen from Roshanpura under Jehangirabad police station area on Tuesday.
According to the police the victim Rajkumari Batham had gone for some work and when returned the house was found ransacked and the valuables were found missing.
A complaint was lodged with the Jehangirabad police by the victim. Victim claimed that gold and silver jewelry worth `50000 were found missing in the theft.
The police have registered a case under section 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
The victim is a housewife and while leaving she had not locked the door as she was scheduled to return within a short period of time.
