Home and Jail Minister Babulal Gaur has said that complaint letter given by residents of Indus Empire Colony should be treated as application. Whatever necessary information is sought through application-form should be got written on the complaint letter itself by concerning persons and immediate action should be taken on it.
Guar visited localities under Ward-52 Rohit Nagar here on Tuesday.During meeting with public at Rohit Nagar, Indus Empire Colony’s residents Anita Shrivastava and lata Gupta gave an application on behalf of all colony residents complaining that the builder is not supplying water daily and over-charging for repair of streetlights.
Gaur directed Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation to solve the problem. The Additional Commissioner asked the residents to apply at Municipal Corporation that arrangements for electricity and water be withdrawn from the builder and transferred to the society of residents and the corporation will make this arrangement. On this, Gaur said that instead of concerning applicants visiting the municipal corporation and move an application, it would be better that 2 lines regarding handing over of water and electricity arrangements to society of residents should be got written on the same complaint letter given by them. The concerning persons wrote these words on the complaint letter on the spot. In this way, the complaint letter got converted to application.
Apart from Rohit Nagar, Gaur also visited Rishi Nagar, Mahindra Township, Bansal Vihar, Viceroy Park, laxmi Parisar, Tilak Nagar, Hemu Colony, Chandrika Society etc and interacted with people. The residents informed that anti-social elements are active at Shahpura crossing and there is problem of encroachment on roads of E-8 Extension. Gaur directed accompanying police personnel to undertake night patrolling constantly and keep watch over places where anti-social elements gather.
He said that complaints regarding it should not come again. He directed Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation and police station in-charge to undertake joint action to remove encroachments from roads. Gaur also visited Bawariya Kalan and held discussions with people. Gaur was accompanied by corporators Chandramukhi Yadav, Sunder Singh Parmar, Kewal Mishra, Rajaram Gujarati and local people.
