Barkatullah University (BU) is prepared to declare the final semester results by June 20. University administration is sending the answer sheets for evaluation immediately after the paper.
BU Confidential Deputy Registrar VK Singh said that department is prepared to declare the results on time.If the examinations are not delayed due to any external reasons then, the results will be declared on scheduled time.
Singh further said, that department is also completing the re-totaling and spot evaluation applications work for the first, third and fifth semester to ensure that all the eligible candidates are able to appear in the examinations.
It is worth mentioning that last year during the sixth semester examination of under graduate and post graduate courses, results of re-totaling of several subjects were not even declared after which university administration and Governor received several applications from students who passed in re-totaling demanding re-organising of the examinations which forced BU administration to conduct special examinations in
September 2012.
Notably, Department of Higher Education (DHE) has asked all the universities of state to conduct special examinations but BU administration is in no mood to conduct the special examinations.
BU Confidential Deputy Registrar DR Singh said that university has already conducted special examination once in this academic year so organising another one is not required. Singh about the present examinations said, that timetable has been set in such a manner that subjects which require more time for evaluation has been organised earlier. Singh further said, the answer sheets are being immediately sent to the teachers for evaluation.
The results of answer sheets are being uploaded in the computer, by the time last paper will finish results of rest of the subjects will be prepared.
Singh said that results of all the courses will be declared before June 20 but the
challenge will be of declaring results of BA and BSc as
examination of both th courses will conclude on June 19 and June 10 respectively.
