Demanding declaration of their much awaited result of the Bachelor of the Physical Education (BPEd) course, the students of the Barkatullah University protested against the university administration on Wednesday.
While talking to The Pioneer here on Wednesday, a student of the BPEd, Vikas Soni told that the final examination of the BPEd course was held on June 10, 2016. The university officials had assured that the result would be announced within the 45 days after the exam. It has been more than four months still the university has not announced the results. The university is ruining the career of the students by delaying the result, he added.
Another student of the BPED course, Devendra Dube told, “We have complained about this to various officials of the university including the Vice Chancellor MD Tiwari of the university but no action has been taken on this yet. We have also complained about this to the Governor, Chief Minister and Chief Secretary, but to no avail.”
Soni demanded that the university should announce the result of the final exam soon in order to save the future of the students. The Uttar Pradesh government has recently announced recruitment of around 32 thousand physical education instructor as well as there are various other vacancies too but the students are unable to take part in the exam as they do not have their mark sheet yet. The government should direct the university to announce the result of the BPED students.
