The B-NeST company of Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation limited (BSCDCl) bagged best start up policy award in New Delhi on Friday. The award was presented in Delhi at the fourth BW Business World Digital India Summit to BMC Commissioner and Smart City ED Priyanka Das.
Minister of Industries Rajasthan Rajpal Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Panchayat Raj, IT and Rural Development Nara lokesh presented the award to BMC Commissioner Priyanka Das.
The company’s smart pole project and intelligent street light was awarded best PPP category award. The B-Nest provides ideas to convert into start-ups and help in marketing, finance and patenting of products.
There is space for 50 start–ups in the B-Nest. The smart pole project and intelligence street light revenue generating model as it would measure level of pollution, live camera feed and digital advertisement board and in the city 500 smart poles would be installed.
In the first phase 100 poles has been completed. Under Intelligent street light 20000 smart lED would be installed out of which 18000 have been installed. The lights would automatically switch off in the day and on during the night. The services are integrated with smart city command and control center.
