Sanitation contractual labourer with BHEl who was found dead on Sunday at his Nehru Nagar residence was killed by his wife and brother said Superintendent of Police Bhopal (North) Anshuman Singh while speaking with the mediapersons on Monday.
Earlier on Sunday morning the victim Babulal was found dead at his residence and the room in which the family was asleep was found locked from outside. Family members claimed that the victim was having party with his friends in the next room while the family was asleep in the other room.
In the initial probe it was found that the victim sustained injury over his shoulder and in his palm which are signs of struggle but the family did not confirmed any sound which raised suspicion over the family. During the investigation victim’s wife Kiran confessed the crime that she along with victim’s brother Rampal had killed Babulal.
The two accused have planned the murder and arranged the evidences at the spot in such a manner that it would appear that few friends have killed the victim and escape after locking the family.
On Saturday Rampal arrived in the city at around 4 pm and as planned kept waiting at the railway station for Kiran’s call and when the victim went asleep she informed Rampal. They hit victim’s head with a stone but he escaped the attack after which Rampal silted his throat using was a sharp-edged weapon and escaped.
Rampal used to work as a driver in Delhi.The two developed physical relationship when the victim used to live in Uttar Pradesh and when came to know about the illicit relationship he along with his family shifted to Bhopal few years ago.
