A bridge will be constructed over rail line between Bawadiya Kalan and Aashima Mall. It is being constructed by Capital Project Administration.
This was informed by Urban Administration and Development Minister Babulal Gaur at a meeting with officers held to discuss development and other problems of Bhopal city. Gaur also directed to prepare its DPR at the earliest. Gaur said that a joint team of district administration, Municipal Corporation and police should ensure removal of trucks illegally parked on Ayodhya Bypass and Ahmedpur on Hoshangabad Road. SP KB Sharma informed that action will be started from August 27. Gaur directed to ensure cleaning of waste bins in the morning and evening and auction condemn vehicles parked in front of Vishram Ghat.
It was informed at the meeting that Tourism Development Corporation is carrying out works to increase tourist facilities at Upper lake, lower lake, Hathaikhera dam and other lakes. The works will get underway soon after receiving permission from Forest Department. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vishesh Garhpale said that Amrai Colony near AIIMS in Ward 53 will be covered under Municipal Corporation after entire money of development is deposited.
Directives were also given to construct drain along the road in BHEl area. Survey for road from DRM office to Ratnagiri petrol pump will be done soon. Survey of road from Ahmedpur Ward 52 to railway crossing has been conducted. A culvert is being constructed over nullah near E-Sector Barkhera in Ward 58. Roads in BHEl area will be repaired after monsoon. Municipal Corporation will provided 3 cranes to systemise traffic in the city. Mayor Krishna Gaur and other officers were also present on the occasion.
