Chancellor of BR Ambedkar University of Social Sciences, MHOW, and the Governor of Madhya Pradesh Lalji Tandon passed away in Lucknow on Tuesday.
A condolence meeting was held at the university following the Covid-19 protocols, where Prof. Asha Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Registrar all faculty members, officers and staff have paid floral tributes and prayed for the departed soul and prayed for the bereaved family to bear this great loss.
The registrar read the condolence message and everyone kept silence for 2 minutes for paying tributes to the departed soul. The Vice Chancellor said that the Honourable Chancellor has always gave encouragement and guidance to improve higher education through educational activities and innovations and his contributions are incomparable. As the Patron of all universities and colleges, he considered them all as a family and worked for the entire development of the education institutions. Even during the time of this worldwide epidemic, his leadership and guidance sets his personality apart.
The initiative to create social awareness against Covid 19 through our university and to deliver the message of protection from Covid-19 to the society was done under his guidance. Even in the hour of this crisis, his concern for the students was not hidden and His Excellency continued to work for the benefit of the students. The University will continue to work on the path set by him.
