A 20-year-old youth and an 18-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Khejadaghat village under Berasia police station area on Monday.
According to the police the deceased leeladhar Kewat (20) and Rati Kewat were found in an unconscious state and were rushed to a nearby hospital where they were declared dead.
Investigating Officer ASI Nandram Choudhary said that in the initial investigation it was found that the two consumed poisonous substance which caused their death. The two were cousins.
At around 8 am police were informed regarding the death of the two. A suicide note was recovered but no reason was mentioned behind the suicide, he added.
The bodies were sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
During the investigation it was found that the two were in relationship but it could not be ascertained at the moment and further details could be revealed later.
Meanwhile, a 12-year-old boy was electrocuted at Panchveer Nagar under Govindopura police station area on Sunday.
According to the police, the deceased Raj was electrocuted while playing outside his house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. The injured boy was rushed to fracture hospital where he was declared dead.
