A book on Dushyant Kumar's ghazals by Mithilesh Wamarkar was launched on Wednesday at Dushyant Kumar Memorial Museum of Manuscript.
"It is generally said that Ghazals of Dushyant Kumar are not compatible with the verses. His grammar is not correct. He is not perfect on the basis of grammar. But this is completely wrong. These Ghazals are Urdu only. Not only, but also on Urdu grammar. Dushyant was knowledgeable about Aruj," said by Mithilesh Wamankar, the author of the book, on the occasion of the launch of his book 'Dushyant Kumar's Ghazals Ka Rachna Vidhan'. Giving examples of verses and grammar, he also sang some shers of ghazals and recited them.
The function was organized on the occasion of Dushyant Jayanti by Dushyant Kumar Memorial Manuscript Museum and Shivna Prakashan in Anjay Tiwari Auditorium of the museum.
In the presidential statement, Nusrat Mehdi said- "Dushyant's poetry has been seen by Mithilesh very seriously and closely. Mithilesh has tried to make the grammar of Ghazals accessible to the common people through this book.
Expressing his views on the book, Azam said that it is an important book to understand Dushyant Kumar. I see this book as a loan repayment by a Bhopal poet to a Bhopal poet. He also highlighted the ghazals of Dushyant Kumar, quoting other Urdu poets.
Special guest Shri Pankaj Subir said that the author needs the approval of the people. Whatever the critics say. Dushyant may have been rejected by the critics, but he has been accepted by the people. Mithilesh ji has tried to explain this acceptance in a simple way in this book.
In the beginning, the director of the museum, Rajurkar, while giving a welcome statement, threw light on the background of the event. President Ramrao Wamankar expressed vote of thanks. The operation was done by young writer Balram Dhakad. Dushyant Museum's souvenir 'Pranam 2020' was also inaugurated in the ceremony.
