Father and daughter share a unique bond. A book My Father My Superhero describing the special bonding between a father and daughter was launched at Arera Club Bhopal on Friday.

Written by Medhavi Chourey a corporate trainer, communication and Soft skills trainer, this book is a gift for her 93 year old father who is the eldest Chartered accountant of our country. The event was organised by Club Literati.

When the children of modern age are drifting apart from their parents, this book launch will be a befitting example for the modern youth and whole society to respect and remain bonded to their aged parents.

"This is a very special initiative by Medhavi and a unique gift for her father," Seema Raizada, President Club Literati said.

"The book is about a famous chartered accountant Mr. Harishankar Laxminarayan Joshi. How a village boy struggles and by his perseverance, hard work, dedication and honesty reaches to the highest coveted post of Life Insurance Corporation of India working at different levels." Dr. Medhavi said.

This story of self confidence and self believing has been scripted by his daughter Dr Medhavi Chourey who herself is a very successful corporate trainer. She saw her father as a super hero right from childhood and was her father’s Princess. She narrated how her father completed the C A examinations when the papers those days were set and checked in England. Medhavi has tried to give shape to her feelings and unconditional love from her father, her observations, and small incidents into the form of a book.

The language is very simple and flowed right from my heart she explains.

"My Father My Superhero will be translated by a famous writer to Hindi too. I hope that this book will send a right message to the modern youngsters as to respect and take care of their parents in the right way when they need them. As now a day the children are drifting apart from their parents in this materialistic world, or rather both do not have time for each other,"she said.

She has tried to touch  that point in her book.
