A bonsai workshop cum exhibition is being organised in city. The day long workshop was held at Rose Garden here on Saturday. The exhibition will be held on Sunday.
The workshop cum exhibition is being organised by Bonsai Club Bhopal. The workshop cum exhibition is held to observe the 29th Anniversary of Bonsai Club. President South Asia Federation and Director World Bonsai Friendship Federation Sneh Parasar was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
As many as 501 varieties of bonsai plant are displayed. Around 20 people have participated in the workshop cum exhibition.
President of Bonsai Club Bhopal Reva Jain shared that bonsai is a plant which is nurtured in a small pot and this can be of fruits and flower which gives the essence of changing weather.
During the workshop, the participants were told about Bonsai. To keep the natural growing plants in a small pot to shape them up is the art of bonsai. Bonsai plants are shaped and pruned from branch to root so as to maintain them and keep them in that shape. Moreover, there are varieties of bonsai which are available in small and large size as well.
Elaborating further, she said that to make a bonsai plant basic ingredients are required like, normal soil, brick particles, sand and few other ingredients which are easily available in market.
Bonsai plants are kept in shade and sunlight as per the need of the plants and they acquire very less space in your house. With less efforts and patience anyone can nurture a bonsai plant at their house and by this we can give a lesson to the upcoming generation for devoting time and sparing love towards them.
