The most awaited film of Bollywood ‘PK’, featuring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead hit the theatres here on Friday. The movie evoked an overwhelming response by the Bhopalites and the theatre halls were chock-full.

After giving the film industry masterpieces like Munna Bhai MBBS, Parineeta, lage Raho Munna Bhai and 3 Idiots, Rajkumar Hirani has come up with another brilliant film PK. The movie also features Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla and Sushant Singh Rajput. Also known as ‘Mr Perfectionist’, Khan is seen in an entirely different avatar, a visiting alien from another planet where cloths are not needed. He befriends Jagat Jannani i.e. Anushka Sharma and sees the colours of life. Jannani calls herself as Jaggu as she is the biggest fan of Jackie Shroff. She is a plucky girl who has recently joined the Delhi base news channel and crashes up with PK.

This stranger in the city asks questions no one has asked before. Known only by his initials, P.K.’s innocent questions and childlike curiosity will take him on a journey of love, laughter and letting-go. The entire story is narrated by Anushka Sharma taking the audience to a journey of fun, love, emotions and humour. On the travel they meet different people and experience different situations. Having completely different yet interesting concept, PK made its way into the hearts of the audience through its lively music. Not to forget to mentions about the exceptionally wondrous performance put up by Aamir.

He plays a goofy role where he laughs at his goblin ears and look around with wide eyes. On the other hand Anushka is a lively girl, Boman plays a role of an irresistible but a fine boss, Sushant Singh is also likable and Saurabh is seen as a godman and Sajay Dutt plays an amusing character. All these characters make the movie one of the best movies ever. The Bhopal theatres were hugely crowded on the first day of the release. As per the sources advance bookings have also been done for the weekends.
