A shocking incident came to light when a seventy year old watchman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the Ambedkar Park in Dabra on Tuesday morning.
Police said that Ramdas Jatav who was taking care of the building materials intended for the community hall to be built in Ambedkar Park was found dead by passersby in the morning. Prima facie some sharp weapon or some spiky object was used to kill him as there was a deep wound in the head and the body was lying in a pool of blood.
Ramdas Jatav worked as the watchman of the park and stayed in the makeshift shed inside the premises at night.
Abhay Pratap Singh, TI of Dabra police station said that the murder might have taken place at night. He admitted that as of now there is no clue about the murderer or the motive behind the gruesome murder. He added that the police would be checking all CCTV footages from the nearby areas and verify all records of the victim to get some lead.
He also said that the neighbors and passersby too would be questioned to get a better picture of the incident. The police said that they have registered a case of suspected murder against unknown assailants and are investigating.
