Sensation prevailed in Banganga area after a highly decomposed body of a man in the age group of 30-32 years was found near a water tank in TT Nagar area on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Manoj Jaat.
Police suspected that the body was around two weeks old and had marks of deep wounds, which was probably of sharp edged weapons. The circumstantial evidences suggested that the deceased was killed at some other place and was later dumped near the water tank. Except the tattooed name of the deceased’s hand nothing was found which could help in establishing the identity of the deceased.
After preliminary investigation, the body was sent for the post mortem. A case under Section 302 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
