The board examinations of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) for class 12th began here from Wednesday.

The first paper was Hindi language.

The exam began at 8:30 am. Approximately seven lakh students appeared for the examination on Wednesday.

It is to be noted that there are 106 examination centers in Bhopal and about 17,000 examination centers in entire State for conducting the board exams.

The MPBSE has done a lot of preparations to conduct the exams smoothly. The board this year kept a strict eye on the cheaters.

During the examination, there was a strict checking carried out.

A small box was kept at the hall so that if any student was caught with the chits, it can be submitted and action could be taken against the student.

Even the switched off mobile phones were not allowed in the hall.

For the smooth conduct of examinations, the district education officer and Joint Director have formed three and four invigilating teams respectively. The Collector has also asked the ADM to maintain a strict vigil on all the examination centers.

The authorities even instructed the invigilating teams, teachers and employees to keep their mobile phones switched off till the exams are over.

It is to be noted that the Board has left no stone unturned to deal with unethical acts.

The examinations for higher secondary school will continue till March 27. The board examinations for class 10th will begin from Thursday. Notably, approximately 19 lakh students from across the State will be appearing for the exam.
