Anti-encroachment squad of the BMC along with building permission department of BMC razed a dilapidated building in MP Nagar zone 1. Plot no 191-A of MP Nagar Zone 1 was razed after it was declared not appropriate for inhabiting by the building permission department.
Notice under sections Municipality Act 1956 to vacate the building was served to the building owner before razing the building. Porcelain machines and JCB machine were used in the operation.
Anti-encroachment squad employees razed the building which was in dilapidated conditions and was likely risk inhabitants of the building due to which the action was taken. In the building Honda showroom was operational which was served the notice to vacate the building, the BMC officials informed.
Additional Commissioner MP Singh, city planner Sunita Singh, in-charge Kamar Saqib, senior officials of administration were present and to complete the razing of the building without any opposition heavy police force was deployed at the spot.
Apart from the razing of building in MP Nagar, anti –encroachment squad removed encroachment from roads, footpaths and public places at Kilol Park area.
The road side food stalls, fruit juice stalls were removed and seized their belongings. Other road side stalls were also seized in the anti-encroachment drive. Road side stalls at secretariat and public places in the nearby areas were removed on Tuesday.
Anti-encroachment squad in joint operation with traffic police removed encroachments near Bhopal railway station platform number 6 and Alpana talkies trisection. Handcarts and stand boards were removed and seized. Based on the complaint received by CM helpline regarding encroachment at boundary wall of Sabzi Mandi at Ayodhya Bypass were removed and stalls were seized.
