The Bilaspur Municipal Corporation (BMC) will motivate the citizens to segregate the waste at source in two different coloured bins -- Red and Green, officials informed. Red shall be used for the collection of recyclable wastes (Dry Waste) like plastics, papers and bottles etc., whereas, the Green bin will be used for collection of organic wastes or kitchen waste (Wet waste). Door to door Collection of municipal solid waste from households, commercial establishments, hotels, offices, markets, slaughter houses and licensed street hawkers shall be ensured on a daily basis, officials informed. Transportation of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) from Secondary point to either transfer station or to waste processing and disposal facility will be taken up. SR
