The anti-encroachment squad of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) here on Thursday removed encroachments from Bada Bagh graveyard on the second day of the drive in the area. The squad removed 10 truckloads of illegally constructed stalls, shops, kiosks, sheets and furniture.
The squad shifted the hawkers to the hawker’s corner to Ibrahimpura, near Chatori wali gali. During the drive along with anti-encroachment in-charge Ramakant Shukla, district and police administration officials and police force were also present.
The Corporation is taking encroachments seriously in places like roads, markets, canals, footpaths and other public places.
